Museums at Night

Have you ever thought about enjoying a museum at night? If you will be in London in October between 25th and 27th you can. This is an experience that will live with you for a long time. You will get to tour different museums, see different art galleries and tour heritage sites in the dead of night. The nocturnal museum experience is not complete without a spooky experience or two, and there are several that are planned for visitors. There are Halloween events, spooky, torch-lit tours and quirky workshops all designed be lots of fun.

There is more than art. On the 28th June there is an Adventures of Sherlock Holmes theatre production for all fans of the famous detective, who will be looking for the wife of his best friend, Dr. Watson, who has disappeared and is feared to be in the hands of a deadly foe. Follow his thinking as he unravels yet another complex mystery.

You can also enjoy the first ever comedy night at Museums at Night on 7th of September. It will feature a number of high profile comedians and has been compared to a night with Tony Meresse. The comedians make the audience a part of the show, there is no pressure or embarrassment, and the night out is great fun for everyone.

Lastly, make sure to go to Midsummer Late: Shakespeare's Forests. It is a collection of theatre performances based on Shakespeare's magical and woodland scenes. The night will begin with A Midsummer Night's Dream followed by As You Like It, The Tempest and others all performed by members of the Greek Theatre Players and other companies. Wine and soft drinks will be served out in the garden. Museums at Night is the perfect way to relax after a long day of touring other attractions around London.
